Power Road Dialysis, a joint dialysis treatment facility between DaVita Inc. and Southwest Kidney Institute, will officially open its doors for an open house Tuesday.
The new facility will be under the medical directorship of Vasudevan Nair, M.D., and Bindu Jayavelu, M.D. This state-of-the-art facility features in-center hemodialysis therapy as well as a top-of-the-line training center for those interested in learning to dialyze at home.
DaVita also offers monthly free community education classes at nearby clinics. These classes encourage participants with all stages of Chronic Kidney Disease to take control of kidney health through diet, lifestyle changes, behavior modification and preparedness.
