All employees, physicians, volunteers, vendors, contractors and health care students at Banner Health facilities will be required to receive a flu vaccine by Dec. 1 under Banner’s “No Flu for You” program.
This plan involves more than 36,000 employees at Banner’s facilities nationwide, including Mesa’s Banner Desert Medical Center, Cardon Children’s Medical Center and Banner Baywood, as well as Gilbert’s Banner Gateway, according to a release.
“We believe this is the right thing to do to protect our patients, visitors, employees, physicians and volunteers,” says Marjorie Bessel, MD, chief medical officer for Banner Health’s Arizona East region. “The flu can be prevented and immunization is a very effective way to decrease the spread of the virus.”
The flu vaccine will be provided free to all Banner Health employees, medical staff and volunteers. Individuals who haven’t had a flu shot will be required to wear a surgical mask wherever patients may be present during the flu season, from Dec. 1 through March 31.

At first they said it was required (which there is NO law in Az stating that one is required to have any vaccine), then at the end, someone must have told the writer that, because it then says 'those who do not have a flu shot must wear a mask when around patients'.
Am sure the mask is supposed to act as a stigma.
Think about this, vaccine pushers: if your vaccines work so well, why would you worry if there was an unvaccinated person around? You are vaccinated, remember?
What total frauds these vaccine pushers are!!

Another example of pseudo-legislation via private entity and a horrendous example of extortion via terms of employment.
All the article is missing is the obligatory "It's for the children" mantra.

Just forget about their personal liberties. Those don't count.

Spreading the flu virus should be pretty far down the list of infections, for a hospital "business" entity. Staph, strep, and other nosocomial infections continue to be problems for these institutions, simply because of improper hand washing, frequently by the doctors, and poor quality control in isolation procedures...
As to the subject of personal liberties, and corporations, it is getting worse. Banner, among many other large companies, has begun offering "preventative" health programs, via insurance carriers. What they don't tell you is, once you've signed up for something like, smoking cessation, or weight loss, or cardio care, you are then obligated to follow that program, or risk being financially punished, for non-compliance.
This is a major reason why one's job should have nothing to do with their health insurance. It's extortion!
And, by the way, it has nothing to do with "Obamacare"...
