Many women hope to meet a doctor at “speed-dating” events, but this is a mixer of a different kind. Moms-to-be can “shop” for OB/GYN physicians that are the best match for their medical needs 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the women’s services loft at Mountain Vista Medical Center, 1301 S. Crismon Road, Mesa. Doctors will conduct short, one-on-one interviews with expecting women and answer any questions they may have. Special tours of the women’s center will be available during that time block as well. The facility offers private, roomy and comfortably furnished labor and delivery suites with adjustable beds, walk-in jet tubs and reclining sleepers for guests, as well as surgical suites for women requiring caesarean sections.
