Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers will host free seminars with renowned heart attack prevention expert Jeffery Fine, Ph.D., and cardiac clinician Dorothy McClure, R.N., on the dangers of undetected heart disease and how to get on the right path toward better heart health.

Participants must complete the online risk assessment at HeartAwareTest.com to qualify for an additional screening to receive a certificate good for a $50 heart scan through Aug. 20.

The seminars will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. July 19 at Sun Lakes Health Center, 10440 E. Riggs Road; and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 19 at Chandler Regional Medical Center, Morrison Building Auditorium, 1875 W. Frye Road.

More seminars are scheduled for July 20: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mercy Gilbert Medical Office Building, 3420 S. Mercy Road, Gilbert, or 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Chandler Regional's Morrison Building Auditorium.
