Then-Mesa Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Peter Sterling spoke to the hundreds in attendance at the 100th-annual Chamber leadership awards in April 2012. I met Peter several times. Nice, outging Mesa Cheerleader. It's a shame for this to happen to anyone and I know every one connected with the Chamber, and Peter's close friends did what they could to help out.
