When the guests at an inn are snowed in one wintry night, it’s a mild inconvenience — until they learn there’s a murderer on the loose. And he may have made his way into the house.
That’s the plot of Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap,” opening Friday at Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert. Called “one of the most skillfully written mysteries ever produced,” the gripping show has run continuously on London stages since 1952.
The classic whodunit takes the stage Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 8, giving you plenty of time to see how the guests pool their wits after one houseguest turns up dead.
