Mosquito spraying scheduled for Gilbert, Queen Creek

Weather conditions, circumstances and time permitting, areas of Gilbert and Queen Creek are scheduled to be fogged midnight Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

Spraying takes place when a high number of mosquitoes are captured in area traps or when captured mosquitoes test positive for West Nile virus.

The first area in Gilbert is within an area from Queen Creek to Ocotillo roads and from Val Vista Drive to Greenfield Road.

The second area in Gilbert is from Ocotillo to Chandler Heights roads and from Higley to Recker roads.

The first area in Queen Creek is within an area from Riggs Road to Hunt Highway/Empire Blvd and from Sossaman to Power roads.

The second area in Queen Creek is from Ocotillo to Chandler Heights roads and from Power to Sossaman roads.
