PHOENIX (AP) — A federal jury in Phoenix has convicted a former Gilbert real estate broker for income tax evasion.

Prosecutors say 67-year-old Sue J. Taylor failed to file income tax returns for the years 2003 through 2006 and didn't pay taxes on income earned from real estate commissions and land sales during that span.

Taylor was convicted Thursday of four felony counts of tax evasion and four misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file tax returns.

Prosecutors say Taylor evaded assessment and payment of at least $910,000 from 2003 to 2006.

They say she earned a $72,000 sales commission and had an interest in $1.3 million in proceeds from the same sale, but didn't report it to the Internal Revenue Service.

Taylor is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 1.
