Do you have any treatment that helps get rid of acne scars?

Yes, we do. We have what’s called the Pixel Laser. It’s a laser treatment that sends narrow beams of heating light into the skin to help form a new, healthy tissue. It’s a bit more invasive than our IPL Photofacial, but that’s because it penetrates deeper into the skin, which is necessary because scars are deeper than say a wrinkle.

Can you treat wrinkles with this laser treatment too?

Yes. We also can treat sunspots and fine lines as well.

How long does the treatment take?

About 20-30 minutes – that of course depends on how much surface area we are covering, but that’s generally the length of time. All we do is guide the laser over the area of skin.

What does the recovery look like?

Usually you can go back to work and other activities with little to no recovery time. You’ll probably experience some swelling or tightening of the skin, warmth or redness, but that is normal. Usually people find that their skin heals quickly and they can see a change of skin tone and texture within a couple days.

Do I have to have the treatment more than once?

It depends on what you want, meaning that everyone has a preference of what they want their skin to look like. Sometimes it takes a series of treatments to get the results you want.

How can I keep my skin healthy?

There are a lot of ways. The overall health of your skin is often dependent on the vitamins you are taking, exercise and diet of food, which we take time to educate every person on. We also ask a series of questions to find out what kind of skin products they are using and just how well they are doing in the three areas mentioned.
