Johnson Larsen Family Dentistry in Gilbert will host a 5K and Fun Run to benefit Travis Williams and his family as he recovers from brain surgery and battles cancer.

The run will take place Higley Groves Park on March 29 at 8:30 a.m.

Travis was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor in 2008 and since his diagnosis he has undergone three brain surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy. His most recent surgery took a major toll and he is slowly recovering. He is learning to eat, walk on his own and take care of himself. Travis is unable to work due to his recovery.

Johnson Larsen Family Dentistry hopes to ease some of the family’s emotional and financial stress by promoting this fundraising event.

To donate to the Williams family and to register for the run, visit http://www.eventzilla.net/web/event?eventid=2138998542. Single runner registration is $15 and family registration is $35.
