John and Terry Shepard invite you to their Gilbert wooden toy shop, 0 Bar 9, which will hold an open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Peruse the pull-toy ducks or elegant rocking horses while you visit with the toymakers. It might be a good time to start thinking about Christmas and birthday gifts, and wooden toys make lasting family heirlooms as well. During the event, the shop is not charging sales tax.
The shop and studio is located at 700 N. Neely St., Suite 12.
