Gilbert residents can view binders with draft chapters on how the town plans to build in the future, including locations of parks and recreation, public facilities, homes and businesses.

The binders have a variety of materials for residents who want to play an active role in planning the future of the community through the general plan, according to a town spokeswoman. The plan is an official document that guides the town in planning projects.

To view the binders residents can visit: Gilbert Town Hall, 50 E. Civic Center Drive; South Area Service Center, 4760 S. Greenfield Road; Southeast Regional Library, 775 N. Greenfield Road; Perry Branch Library, 1965 E. Queen Creek Road; and Heritage Annex, 119 N. Gilbert Road.

For information on the General Plan, individual chapters and how to get involved, visit www.gilbertaz.gov.
