The Town of Gilbert is set to host its “All American” Red White and Blue Gilbert Days parade and festival on Nov. 23.
The parade, which begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m., begins on Gilbert road between Juniper and Elliot roads and has more than 100 entries that include the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. Honorees of the town’s “Operation Welcome Home” ceremonies will serve as grand marshals and will be escorted by Patriot Riders and members of the Boy and Girl scouts.
After the parade is the festival starting at noon and held at the Gilbert Civic Center, which is located at 50 E. Civic Center Drive. That event will feature a zip line, petting zoo, kid’s area with inflatable rides, food, beverage, entertainment and other amenities and attractions, and it costs $5 per person to enter.
