Gilbert goes country next week during the “Gilbert Entertains You” spring concert series at Freestone Park (Lindsay and Juniper roads).
The 7 p.m. May 12 concert will feature Firefly and opening act Anna Collins. Food and beverages will be available for purchase or families can bring their own. Concertgoers should bring blankets or lawnchairs.
Firefly is made up of Gilbert sisters Melanie, McKenzie, and Madelyn who play the guitar, mandolin, fiddle, keyboard, and cello. They’ve entertained audiences from Arizona to New York with LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Justin Bieber, Wynonna Judd, and more.
Collins is a 17-year-old country music singer/songwriter from Gilbert.
