The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce’s leadership program has added almost 30 members to its Class XXII.
The collection of members, totaling 28 in all, represents professionals from careers ranging from healthcare and education to insurance and engineering. They will spend one Friday a month for nine months working together to learn about topics like government, social services, local business and the town’s history, and they will work together to create a class project.
More than 390 people have graduated from the program since its inception, including chamber CEO Kathy Tilque, Town Manager Patrick Banger and former mayor Cynthia Dunham.
