The Gilbert Unified School District governing board adopted the 2012-2013 calendar Tuesday night.
Class will begin Aug. 8, 2012, the second Wednesday of August. Class started this school year at the same time.
Students will have fall break Oct. 15-19, 2012, with the first semester ending Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, with an early release day.
Classes will pick up again Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. Spring break will be March 11-15, 2013. Classes will end Thursday, May 23, 2013.
This option was the one most popular with people who gave the district feedback.
