To celebrate Hanukkah, the Chabad Jewish Center of Gilbert is lighting the town’s first giant menorah 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 12 at the SanTan Village mall.
Mayor John Lewis will light the menorah. In addition, the event promises kosher food, music and a toy for every child.
The menorah will be found on the west end of the Harkins Court. The mall is located at 2218 E. Williams Field Road. For more information, visit www.jewishgilbert.com.
