The Higley Unified School District will reroute buses and students may experience longer rides because of road closures in the next few weeks.
Williams Field Road will be closed in both directors at the railroad tracks, between Higley and Recker roads, Monday through Friday.
Recker Road will be closed from the Williams Field Road intersection to Frye Road, near the district offices, Nov. 22-26.

Be it a one week or a 12 week repair, if it affects a major school bus route you would think the AZDOT would adjust the schedule of repair so that expense and inconvenience would be avoided. Just another case of our DOT flexing their muscles: so sad.
