A 44-year-old man died in a single vehicle motorcycle collision in Gilbert Wednesday night, Gilbert Police said.

Ronald Enyard, a Mesa resident, was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Guadalupe Road when he lost control of the bike and collided with a boulder at the southeast corner of Guadalupe and Sirrine Street, Gilbert police said in a release.

Enyart was pronounced dead by Gilbert Fire Department at the scene. There is no information about whether Enyart was wearing a helmet or protective gear at the time of the crash.

The Gilbert traffic reconstruction team responded to the scene to investigate. The investigation is ongoing.
