Gilbert Unified School District is seeking input from parents of gifted students.
The district is exploring the creation of a self-contained primary classroom to serve gifted students in second or third grade beginning in August.
Grade levels could be added to the program each year, to ultimately serve grades two through six. The survey, which ends at 5 p.m. Thursday, is online at gilbertschools.net. District leaders will make a presentation and proposal to the governing board at the next board meeting, Tuesday night.
