Chandler Regional Medical Center recently announced that Tim Bricker would be its new president and CEO, effective April 16.
Bricker had previously been president and CEO of Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, and is now serving in the same capacity for both hospitals.
“This hospital has a rich history more than 50 years in the making and I am honored to become a part of it,” said Bricker, of Chandler Regional, in a press release. “History is even playing out now as we work to expand our facility and better serve the healthcare needs of the community. It’s a great time to be at Chandler Regional.”
Bricker’s dual role allows former Chandler Regional president and CEO Patty White to move to the same position at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical in Phoenix. She replaces Linda Hunt, who will focus solely on her role as president and CEO of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health was formerly known as Catholic Healthcare West.
Bricker, who has served as a consultant helping hospitals improve operational strategies, as well as a hospital executive in Bend, Ore., and Salt Lake City, has had a career in the medical services industry spanning greater than two decades.
