The Gilbert Fire Department wants residents to take a hands on approach to safety with hands only CPR!
In connection with National CPR Week (June 1-7), Gilbert is offering free Continuous Chest Compression – “hands only” – CPR classes.
According to information provided by the Town of Gilbert, “Continuous Chest Compressions have recently been proven to be more effective in saving adult lives” than other CPR methods.
Free to Gilbert residents, the first class is scheduled for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Gilbert Fire Station 2, 2855 E. Guadalupe Road. The second and third classes will take place simultaneously on Tuesday, June 5 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Gilbert Fire Administration, 85 E. Civic Center Drive – with one of the classes for children ages 9 to 14, the other for adults and teens ages 15 and up.
