What is laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal is using a low-energy laser to remove unwanted hair permanently. It’s good for multiple skin types and makes it so a person doesn’t have to wax or shave. The only time a person would need to come in again is 5-6 years down the road to probably get touch-ups. We are always offering monthly specials.

What areas do you treat?

We treat all body areas, however, the most popular are: the back, shoulders, arms, legs, bikini area and face. The laser treatment leaves the skin smooth and with little irritation. The benefit of a laser treatment is that it doesn’t leave any shadow, because the laser completely removes the hair follicles. So, if you get a treatment on the upper lip then once the irritation has subsided you wouldn’t even know you ever had hair there.

How long does a laser treatment take?

It depends on the area you have treated. The lip or chin is about 5-10 minutes, underarms 10 minutes, full face about 20 minutes and legs would take about one hour.

Is a laser treatment painful?

For me it’s not. It depends on your pain tolerance but it’s equivalent to be snapped by a hot rubber band. It’s not painful but not completely painless. The skin is going to be irritated some once it finishes, but there are lotions and creams that can help alleviate that.

Is it a safe treatment?

Absolutely. It’s fast, safe and an effective, gentle way to remove hair.

What is the minimum age to receive a treatment?

You have to be at least 18 years old.
