Gilbert teen Danielle Fisher, 17, has been named a finalist in the National American Miss Arizona pageant, and will compete June 30 at the DoubleTree Resort in Scottsdale for the national crown.
The National American Miss pageants involve girls ages 4 through 18, consisting of five age divisions.
Fisher, currently “Miss Gilbert,” finished sixth nationally during a pageant event at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., last Thanksgiving.
A junior at Highland High School, Fisher participates in her school’s American Sign Language Program, as well as advance dance and cheer. She also regularly volunteers monthly with Habitat for Humanity of Arizona.
