Gilbert Hospital will hold free pulmonary function baseline screenings 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8.
The test measures lung function to help determine if a person has any active disease, may be prone to a disease, has any obstructive or restrictive disorders, or has asthma. Seniors will be given priority, though all adults are welcome. Appointments are required. Call (480) 237-8300. Residents do not qualify for a screening if they've recently had a heart attack or are in active respiratory distress.
