Any teacher considering Gilbert Public Schools should read how employees are treated there. There's a section at www.WesternConnections.com with resources for employees, including info on the new teacher evaluation system being implimented, how GPS manipulates complaints against employees (teachers AND support staff) and how GPS trains administrators to fire teachers (complete with GPS traniing slides for principals!). Right now, there's an investigation based on anonymous complaints at Highland Junior High School, so there might be lots of vacancies -- learn more about this before talking to the Gilbert district! Finally, careful of joining the Gilbert Education Association: members get betrayed!
