Recent Chandler High School graduate Ariana Enriquez has been selected to participate in The Smithsonian Institution’s national Young Ambassadors Program.

Earlier this summer, Ariana traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in a weeklong seminar at the Smithsonian. She is currently completing a four-week internship at Scottsdale Public Art.

The Young Ambassadors Program is a national program for graduating high school seniors aimed at fostering the next generation of Latino leaders in the arts, sciences, and humanities via the Smithsonian Institution and its resources. It is a college preparatory and leadership program that encourages participants to explore various academic and career opportunities through the lens of the Latino experience.
