The organization behind National School Choice Week has selected Arizona to host its official kickoff celebration in 2013.
This national event, which will take place Jan. 25 in, is estimated to attract thousands of participants from within Arizona and across the country, and will kick-start a week featuring an estimated 1,000-plus education reform-focused events across the country.
Participants in the nonpartisan National School Choice Week believe that all parents should have the opportunity to select the best educational environments for their children — including high-performing traditional public schools, public charter schools, private schools, magnet schools, virtual schools, and homeschooling.
