I'm going to go into my boss' office and tell him I "need a budget override". I swear "all" my spending was "reasonable". Think he'll go for it?

Here's my beef with cutting the budget.
The people who are already making $200,00.00 a year will be cutting teachers and facilities, all while sitting in their plush offices pulling down huge chunks of money for putting their districts in the mess they are in now.
But, I'd rather have them do it than the governor or our incompetent legislature.
And, NO, charter schools are not the answer.

The hard working Tax-Payers are sick and tired of seeing high house taxes going down the "Education Toilet". They drive past schools when students are coming or after school and what do they see their "extra" Tax Dollars paying for. Students who look like "gang-banger wanna-be's".....teachers that look like "gang-banger wanna-be's". Student going home with ....."NO" ......school books because their teachers are either too lazy to assign it or too afraid that their students won't...."LOVE"....them.

Tax-Payers see School Administrators retiring with a $200,000.00 per year pension for the next 20 to 30 years on top of their full Social Security Pension that they will will to claim until they are 70yo to get the "ULTIMATE MAX PAYMENTS".....while most of the Tax-Payers will be forced by financial circumstances to start getting Social Security Payment at age 62yo.

Tax-Payers aren't that stupid. They read the Newspapers and watch the nightly News Programs that report that our Schools are not teaching the students sufficiently enough to pass .....National Educationa Progress Reports, A.I.M.S. Tests and S.A.T. Tests. These aren't tests only for Local students but for students all across America.

These Tax-Payers are wondering why other Schools in other States are passing these Test with high scores and their Local Schools are in the "FAIL" or "Progress Not Met" columns.

Time for Local School Districts to do what almost every household in America has been doing since 2008.........A LITTLE ......"BELT TIGHTENING"....trim the fat.....get rid of the "mentors" and keep the "teachers".

You mean that Assistant Superintendents in charge of collecting their paychecks might have to work for a change?
