Registration is open for Gilbert parents interested in getting their kids an introduction to wrestling during the holidays.

Kids from as young as 5 and up to grade eight can participate in the four-day camp with Highland High School coach Abel Figueroa that includes three days of instruction and a day of wrestling for the finale. Participants receive a ribbon for every match wrestled, a camp T-shirt and be eligible for the Braiden Rainey Sportsmanship Award.

The camp is from Dec. 30 through Jan. 3 — the camp is closed Jan. 1 — at Highland, 4301 E. Guadalupe Road, and costs $41 to participate.
