Liz Mullavey of Mesa Unified School District’s Sousa Elementary is among Arizona’s seven Rodel Exemplary Principals. Principals were selected for their ability to inspire their staff members to contribute to outstanding student achievement in a safe, orderly and welcoming environment.
“It is an honor and a privilege to be recognized as a Rodel Exemplary Principal,” Mullavey said. “Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work beside many dedicated individuals who share my passion and commitment to helping children succeed.”
The Rodel Foundation of Arizona created the Exemplary Principal Initiative to recognize the success of Arizona’s most exceptional principals and to enlist their help. Each exemplary principal will receive a $2,500 honorarium and will mentor three Rodel Aspring Principals over the next two years.
