Finance class for teens offered online

Personal Finance for Teens is a new online course being offered through the Mesa Distance Learning Program of the Mesa Unified School District.

Enrollment is open to students in grades nine through 12 for summer school and fall semester. The course is an elective class that will give students the basics of financial literacy, including such topics as spending habits, creating a financial plan, using debit and credit cards, maintaining good credit scores, buying insurance and funding higher education.
