Registration for Mesa's GED to MCC will be held June 17 and July 30. The program is designed for motivated students who want to receive a high school equivalency credential, continue their education and earn a community college job certificate or degree.GED to MCC is a Mesa Counts on College project.
Students must take the Test of Adult Basic Education in order to sign up for the program. Classes are provided by Mesa Unified School District and Mesa Community College.
Students accepted in the GED to MCC program will attend class from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 12 through Dec. 19, at the Mesa Education Center, 855 W. Eighth Ave., Mesa. The cost is $20 to $40, depending upon household income.
