The Gilbert High School orchestra booster club is helping students raise funds for a spring tour. The community can help by participating in a 5K/10K pancake run at Gilbert's Riparian Preserve on Feb. 2.
The flat and fast course will include parts of the preserve trails and sidewalk around the fishing pond next to the library. Registration starts at 6 a.m., with the races beginning at 8 a.m.
Pancakes will be served for non-runners for $5 per person.
Advance registration is $25, with race-day registration $35.
