Rain or shine, crossing guards work to protect Arizona's school children. To honor the outstanding guards in our communities, AAA Arizona is calling for nominations for its fifth annual Crossing Guard of the Year Award. The deadline to submit nominations is March 23.
Students, parents, school administrators, faculty, staff and community members can nominate candidates. Self-nominations will also be accepted.
Nomination forms are available at all Maricopa County and Pima County school district offices or can be downloaded online at az.aaa.com/news/traffic/CrossingGuardoftheYear.htm. Nominations must be submitted by March 23, 2012.
