Mesa student finalist for National Forensic League student of year

Mesa's Angela Zhang, a student at Mountain View High School, has been named one of six finalists for the National Forensic League Student of the Year Award.

The finalists will interview with a panel of judges during the National Speech & Debate Tournament, the world's largest academic competition, in Birmingham, Ala. The winner will be announced during the national awards assembly June 21.

The National Forensic League is the honor society for middle and high school speech and debate
