Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal and the Arizona Department of Education announce the launch of the new Achievement in Action Award.
As part of the department's mission to share examples of outstanding educational practices from around our state, this new award is designed to recognize and acknowledge k-12 schools that have implemented creative and innovative programs that have had a positive impact on student achievement. Programs that incorporate technology will receive special consideration.
Award recipients will be announced and honored annually at ADE’s Leading Change Conference in June.
To nominate a school you feel is deserving of this recognition, complete the nomination form at the link at azed.gov and submit it by Oct. 1.
