Registration for fall kindergarten is open in the Higley Unified School District. To register, go to your local school with the following: child’s immunization record, proof of residency (contract on your house, rental or lease agreement, electric bill, etc.), child’s birth certificate and driver’s license.
If your child will be 5 years of age by Aug. 31, 2012, he or she qualifies for the 2012-2013 school year.
If your child will be 5 years of age between Sept. 1, 2012, and Dec. 31, 2012, you may consider having the child tested for early entrance kindergarten. There is a $45 fee to cover the assessment.
