10 EV students selected for Honeywell academy

Honeywell has awarded scholarships to 254 students from 30 countries and 30 U.S. states to attend the Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy beginning this week at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala.
Ten students are from the East Valley: Chandler Preparatory Academy’s Kendall Fiore and Miranda Lopez; Williams Field High School’s Kyle Gill; Mesquite High School’s Erik Pastor; Desert Vista High School’s Morisha Daniely; Mountain Pointe High School’s Ryan Hagar; Hamilton High School’s Zachary Tupy and Graydon Guest; Westwood High School’s Nathan Hui and Skyline High School’s David Siems.
The Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy provides students with an opportunity to engage in sessions addressing current issues in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
