EV schools compete Friday in 'We the People'

The state “We the People” finals will be held Friday at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. The contest promotes civic competence and responsibility among the nation’s elementary and secondary students. East Valley high schools that have won their district competitions include Tempe’s Corona del Sol and Marcos de Niza, Chandler’s Hamilton, Mesa’s Skyline and Red Mountain campuses, and Gilbert Classical Academy.
