Families that want to apply for an Education Scholarship Account for the fall semester from Arizona have until 5 p.m. Friday, May 4 to submit their applications.
Education Scholarship Accounts are available for special needs students currently enrolled in an Arizona public school. The accounts, created by lawmakers last year, give qualifying students 90 percent of the funds that the public school would have received for educating them. In return, students must leave an Arizona public school. The funds can then be used to pay for private school tuition, homeschool curriculum, educational services or post-graduation education.
