Top of the Class of 2013: Gilbert's Campo Verde High School

Gilbert's Campo Verde High School will give diplomas to 455 students this year. Students earned more than $9.7 million in scholarships.



Valedictorians

Savannah Adkins, 17

GPA: 4.68

A little about the student: Savannah lives in Chandler. She was born in San Jose, Calif. and has lived in Chandler for 17 years. She has four siblings, three brothers and one sister. She is planning on attending St. John’s University.

Total amount of scholarship money this student was offered: $400,000

What University or College is this student planning to attend? St. John’s University

What is this student’s career goal? At the moment she is not sure what her career goal is but wants to major in economics and minor in international relations.

Linda Fou, 17

GPA: 4.68

A little about the Student: Linda was born in American Fork, Utah. She has lived in Gilbert for five years. She has one sibling and is planning on attending ASU.

Total amount of scholarship money this student was offered: $39,000

What University or College is this student planning to attend? ASU. She wants to do an undergrad in Mechanical engineering and a master's in Biomedical engineering

What is this student’s career goal? Her career goal is to be a biomedical engineer.
