An early morning fire Monday destroyed a San Tan Valley home, according to the local American Red Cross.
Volunteers from the Grand Canyon Chapter of the Red Cross were responding to the fire at the home located near the cross streets of Johnson Ranch Road and Hunt Highway, according to a Red Cross news release.
The chapter's Disaster Action Team will be helping the home's family of four with finding a safe place to sleep, food, water, clothing and emotional support, the release said.
No other details about the fire were immediately available.
