The parents of a Phoenix teen denied their son assaulted a police officer on Saturday.
The alleged incident happened Friday night as the officer was responding to a loud party at an empty home near 48th Street and Chandler Boulevard.
When the officer tried to question a 17-year-old, police say he resisted and hit the officer with a brick before fleeing the scene.
The boy's parents told ABC15 that they told him to return and talk to the police, because they didn't believe he had done anything wrong.
They also said they did live at the residence, but had just moved to Peoria.

the fact there little cherub returned to a vacant house they used to live in to party tells me all I need to know about these parents and why they would either lie for him or protect him from what he may have done. In addtion, to minimize what he had apparently done... hitting a cop with a brick? Never mind the fact that they were not there.

Gotta prove the cops wrong so they can sue. It's all about the money. Must be liberal/progressive parents because conservative parents would make their children assume responsibility for their actions.
