A man and an elderly woman were hospitalized after a structure fire broke out in a Tempe neighborhood on Thursday.
The man, 51, and the woman were injured after a fire broke out about 7 p.m. in a shed in the 900 block of East Libra.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire to the shed.
The man later was released from the hospital Thursday evening, and the woman was kept overnight for observation due to other health issues not related to the fire, according to Mike Reichling, a Tempe fire spokesman.
