A woman was flown by helicopter to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn hospital after she was seriously injured during a single-vehicle rollover crash along the Hunt Highway on Tuesday.

The woman, who was described as in her 50s, suffered non-life threatening injuries when she drove her Toyota Yaris off Hunt Highway between Felix and Attawa roads about 10 a.m., according to Mark Cichocki, a spokesman for Rural-Metro Fire Department.

The woman was conscious when emergency crews arrived on the scene, and Hunt Highway was closed for about 30 minutes while the woman was extricated from the car before she was flown to the hospital, Cichocki said.
