Maricopa County authorities have recovered a body from the Salt River, but it's still unclear if it is that of a man missing on a weekend tubing trip.

County sheriff's officials say the body was pulled from the water Wednesday near Coon Bluff. They say county medical examiners are working to determine the identity of the body.

Authorities have been looking for 22-year-old Josh Williams since Sunday.

Sheriff's officials say Williams was last seen floating along the river before he became separated from a group of people near Sheep Bridge and Mudcliffs.

The Arizona Republic says Coon Bluff Road is located along Bush Highway about a mile west of the intersection with Usery Pass Road. It's about a mile away from where Williams was reported missing.

They need to rename that stretch of the Salt River.
    Call it the Gene Pool.
It has a great record of cleaning out the gene pool of the tuber folks.
