The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 26-year-old Queen Creek-area man on suspicion of raping a woman Friday.
According to Vanessa White, Pinal County Sheriff’s spokeswoman, deputies were called about 2:15 a.m. to the 3100 block of North Candlewood to the report of a rape of a 31-year-old woman.
Deputies arrested Michael J. Fischkelta in the area and he gave a statement “in which he acknowledged involvement in this incident,” White said.
Fischkelta was booked into Pinal County Jail on one count of sexual assault and is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
