Ever wanted to watch your local officers and firefighters battle it out in a game of basketball? You can this afternoon at the Battle of the Badges, slated for 1 p.m. at US Airways Center, 201 W. Jefferson Street, in Phoenix.

During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for various Suns items, shoot around on the Suns court, and meet the Suns Gorilla.

All proceeds will benefit the 100 Club of Arizona, a local non-profit that provides assistance to public safety and their families in time of need.

“There is always a friendly rivalry going on between police and fire and this event not only provides a great outlet for that competition but also turns it into an opportunity to give back,” said 100 Club Executive Director, Sharon Knutson-Felix. “It’s a fun, unique experience for people of all ages and we look forward to another successful year!”

Tickets to watch the game are $10 each. Courtside seats are $15 each. Children 12 and under are free. For more information, check out www.100club.org.
