Authorities are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information about a man who police say is responsible for 13 armed robberies in the Phoenix area in the last three months.
Police say that the man has targeted 11 fast-food restaurants and two nail salons that netted him a combined $5,200. He got an average of about $400 during each robbery.
Police say that between April 17 and as recently as Sunday, the man went into some of the businesses, bought something and then pulled a gun and aimed it an employee after they had opened the register.
In some of the robberies, police say the man lifted his shirt and displayed the gun without actually pulling it out.
